    Which color option should I choose?

    Most announcements are printed full-color on both sides, particularly those that include color images. If your announcements don't contain color images, you might consider a different option instead, such as black and white printing on a fancier medium such as the pearl cardstock or a nice heavy 130# matte.  A well-conceived one-side color announcement can also help in keeping costs down...

    100 lb. matte is a heavy cardstock with a dull, smooth finish that handles print graphics well.

    130 lb. matte is even heavier and more sturdy than 100 lb matte, great for your extra special invitations and announcements.

    12 pt coated is a heavy semi-gloss cardstock that makes your photographic images pop because of its glossy sheen.  This is great for attention getting news!

    Pearl cardstock is a perfect backdrop for black and white or color invitations that need a certain elegance to them.  This medium is better for illustrations or text designs, although pictures have a certain softer look when printed on pearl.
