Which color option should I choose?

Most brochures are printed full-color on both sides, particularly those that include color images. Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal for most brochures. However, if your budget is tight, a well-conceived black and white design can prove an acceptable, lower cost, alternative.  Please call or email AccuColor if you need a quote for a black and white printed brochure...

  6. *Folding Options

Most brochures are tri-folded (meaning a typical letter folding - when opened it appears to have 3 panels to the brochure).

Some are half-folded, meaning they are folded in half once.

Larger brochures, typically on 11x17 or 8.5x14, can be double-parallel folded, meaning the paper is folded in half lengthwise and then folded in half the same direction again.  This gives the appearance of 4 panels, or is simply useful in folding a large piece of paper to a workable size.

A Z-fold is useful for a one-sided brochure.  It is folded in the form of a "Z" so that only the one printed side is shown when folded and unfolded.

    Click on "View" for illustrations...

View Folded once in the center, creating two, equal halves.
View Bottom third folded up and top third folded down, overlapping it. Common for letters, flyers, and brochures.
View Two parallel folds made in opposite directions, resulting in a z-shape fold and creating three panels of equal size. Common for letters, flyers, and brochures.
View Four panels. Folded in half and then in half again in the same direction. Two inside sections are slightly skinnier for exact alignment when folding.
