    What size should I choose for my business card?

    In most cases, we recommend a 2 in. x 3.5 in. business card, since it fits so well in a wallet, purse, or standard business card holder.     Which color option should I choose?

    If you're looking to make your business card stand out and get noticed, we recommend considering a full-color front and back, especially if your business card contains a photo or other image. Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal.

    However, if your budget is tight, a well-conceived one side color card OR  black and white design (one or two sides) can prove acceptable alternatives, especially when a black and white text design is printed on the Pearlescent cardstock or Linen. 

    We have graphic designers on staff to help with your design to optimize the visual impact your cards can offer.

    12 pt  gloss cardstock provides a glossy finish that reproduces text and simpler graphics well.  C1S means the gloss is on one side of the card, and C2S means the gloss is on both sides of the card.

    100 lb. matte cardstock offers a dull finish and solid feel for business cards.

    16 pt  gloss cardstock  is very durable, and our heaviest semi-gloss cardstock in the shop.  It's  smooth, glossy finish is perfect for high-impact graphics and photographic reproduction.

    130 lb. matte cardstock is a more durable, heavyweight paper with a dull finish which handles print graphics well.

    Linen cardstock is textured with fine lines running perpendicular to each other, giving the effect of the texture.  This is a high class looking card and can handle either a plain text design or photos and illustrations well.

    Pearl cardstock is a luminescent cardstock in either white (snow willow) or cream (beargrass).  It is also elegant looking with either black and white or color printing.

    Other options are available in the shop, including Pearl Linen which is the most elegant looking yet, or watercolor cardstock, Call or email AccuColor if you're interested in these last two types of business card media...
